Counselor Cooperative
The Counselor Cooperative support services will provide school counselors with the opportunity to build a stronger and more informative counseling presence at their school and implement programs that meet state and federal requirements.
Through 6 monthly meetings, the Counselor Cooperative will provide expert assistance and support to member LEAs relating to include social-emotional and academic counseling best-practices; Texas Model for a Comprehensive School Counseling Program, 5th Ed.; graduation requirements; legislative and legal mandates; College and Career Military Readiness; and support for initiatives designed to enhance student academic achievement and development in public education. Participants will be provided information and updates in order to stay current with the latest school counseling requirements and best practices related to a comprehensive school counseling program.
